As an Auditor, you will:
Provide audit services for the Naval Reactors program, as well as other Government contracts.Plan, develop, review and implement audit programs and procedures for audit assignments.Perform audits involving cost determinations, indirect cost distributions, and expense allocations in accordance with the terms and conditions in the operating contract.Perform pre-award audits of rate proposals submitted by the operating contractor.Prepare comprehensive reports of audits or examinations, setting forth the results of the reviews, and recommendations for correction of deficiencies and for adjustment of discrepancies.Formulate and present recommendations to the supervisor for review, evaluation and determination of administrative action. Experience that demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of accounting and/or auditing skills to perform accounting/auditing, financial or compliance work and resolve related problems. Also included is the demonstrated ability to communicate effectively regarding accounting or auditing issues. (OR) 2 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree, in a related field. (OR) A combination of specialized experience and education, as described above. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
