Class A Local Intermodal Drivers Needed
This is a Class A CDL position. Please do not apply for the job if you do not hold a valid Commercial drivers license. I do not have any type of training or schools.
Hiring in:
35 mile Radius of Albany or Mechanicsville
Albany Intermodal Account picks up from and delivers to and from the major ramp in Mechanicsville. You will deliver within a 150 mile radius of the city with runs that could go into Canada every day. There are two different positions on this account - One that goes into Canada and one that stays in the states. Let me know which one you are interested in.Enhanced License or Passport required for Canada runs.
All freight is on containers and is all no touch. There is a 35 minute turnaround time in the yard for a live load and a 25 minute for a drop and hook. The current drivers currently average 2200 miles per week but good drivers could run as much as 2400 miles per week.
Drivers are home everyday depending on weather and freight. Driver may be required to spend the night in the truck depending on these inclement. The shifts available will depend on of you choose the Canadian run or not. I have several day shifts available.
Saturday - Wednesday 6pm - 6am
Friday - Tuesday 1am - 1 pm
Thursday - Monday 3am - 3pm
The Job starts at .33 cpm for drivers with more than one year of experience. There are two stop pays - $18 dollars for every drop and hook and $28 dollars if it is a Live unload or load. Job is paying $1,000.00 per week to start!!!!!
