Arthur Lawrence has an excellent opportunity for aPeopleSoft Portal Technical Developer for our client in Schenectady, NY.

Must Have:
Must have a minimum of 5 - 7 years as a PeopleSoft portal Developer.
Strong PeopleSoft technical knowledge (i.e. SQR, App Engine, Component Interface, Messaging, Security, Online objects, etc).
Desirable with Java Skills or Ability to Learn to support other in-house Java Applications.
PeopleSoft Portal Development, Upgrade and Testing experience is key to this role preferably with experience in Java to trouble shoot Portal and Java Applications which is customized in GE.
Ability to write a technical Spec from a functional spec.
Ability to communicate and Q/A with the functional design architects
Experience includes multiple full life cycle implementations
Ability to conceptualize a wing to wing design based on an understanding of requirements and Technical expertise in the PeopleSoft Portal
Ability to review functional specs for completeness and identify gaps along with potential downstream or parallel implications.
Ability to come up with multiple alternate designs based on an understanding of the larger picture, product limitations and operational supportability.
Ability to mentor and pass on skills.
