Ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures.
Responsible for the development of the Bank's loan portfolio in coordination with the Senior Lending Officer.
Responsible for the generation and processing of commercial loan leads, including all aspects of application, presentation to Loan Committee, and closing.
Ensure timely response to loan requests.
Achieve established Bank and department goals through active participation in sales and officer call programs.
Retain and develop relationships with regular customer calls.
Utilize governmental programs when deemed necessary to meet customer's credit needs.
Increase professional expertise through attendance of job related seminars, conferences and workshops.
Process commercial loan referrals from the Retail Banking Department.
Refer deposit and consumer loan business to the Retail Banking Department and assist Retail banking in cultivating business deposits through commercial relationships.
Establish and maintain community involvement to promote and enhance the Bank's image and business development.
Represents the Bank in community and civic functions.
Works with Credit Analysts to analyze financial statements and prepare credit requests.
Requirements for Commercial Loan Officer (5years Commercial loans EXP)Commercial Loan Officer (5years Commercial loans EXP) Minimum of five to seven years' commercial lending experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of all aspects of commercial lending with proven results in a similar position.
Cultivate business and represent the Bank at various community events and through civic organizations, including participation in events after business hours.
Has an established Book of Business.
Bachelor's degree in business or related field also preferred.
Must have excellent communication.
Highly developed analytical ability and ability to demonstrate successful sales skills.
