79Ability to review, interpret and process Third Party and self pay remittances, including review and consideration of prior transactions and payer behavior within the billing system.
Ability to acknowledge software limits & comfort with bringing forward trends and systemic issues within software or excel processes.
The cash poster is responsible to process all Third Party remittances, daily cash, adjustments, payment transfers, allowances, post denials, reconcilebatches, and review account for refund processing.
The poster will be responsible for assisting with batch preparation - creating batch cover sheets, pulling EOBs, pulling Lockbox backup and inserting all needed posting documentation into the PDF.
In addition, the poster will assist with tracker updates and researching missing documents.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
