00 Salary/year Description Position SummaryThe position is responsible for providing support to Day Education Clinicians and ensuring the safety of all their students and families.
Attends all meetings involving student progress, needs, and planning, including treatment planning, reinstatement meetings Tier II and Tier III meetings, and CSE meetings.
Ensures all clinical services provided to students meet best practice standards, including ensuring quality and timely paperwork is kept.
Aids clinicians and school staff in problem solving difficult cases.
Identifies clinical groups to be offered to students throughout the school year as needed.
Responsible for managing the intake process in a way that maximizes impact on census.
Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following.

Employees are expected to be awake and alert while working.

Manages the Clinical operations of the day education program as outlined in policy, procedure, and program articulation.
Ensures appropriate coverage of cases and maintains census for the program.
Ensures best practice clinical standards are applied to maintain client safety and treatment.

Ensures consistent and quality service delivery for all treatment interventions of clients served in the program by attending all meetings and providing regular supervision to clinical staff.

Communicates with our many referral sources as well as outside providers on behalf of our program and clients we serve.

Assists in the recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and orientation of new clinical staff and clinical interns.
Completes evaluations of all assigned staff and interns and addresses any payroll or human resource issues that need attention.

Continually analyzes needs of client population to determine appropriate programming such as staff training, implementation of different treatment modalities, development of specific group curriculum, seeking out additional community resources and/or utilizing assessment tools.

Provides clinical supervision for clinical staff and administrative assistant.

Works in collaboration with the Executive Educational Program director to review student data on achievement, behavior, attendance, and restraints and assists in the development of school-wide responses.

Education and/or ExperienceRequires a Masters degree in Social Work or a related field and at least five to seven years of related and progressively responsible experience.
