Lia CJDR Schenectady is seeking a Level 2 Automotive Technician to join our team.

Sign on bonus may be available based on skill level and experience.
COMPENSATION RANGE:
$85K-$95KSIGN ON BONUS:
Available up to $5,000 based on experience, certifications & qualificationsREQUIREMENTS:

years of Service Technician experience required Experience performing preventative and light duty maintenance Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair experience preferred State Inspection certification required WiTech Certification Preferred Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications Computer skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Must have clean & valid driver's license KEY
Responsibilities:
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership processes Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed, providing an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs.
