The Psychiatric Social Worker is responsible for providing thorough and clinically appropriate social work interventions including psychosocial assessments, person-centered treatment planning, psychotherapy, crisis interventions and family/collateral engagement.
Requirements:
MSW from an accredited school of social work required.
LMSW required.
A master's degree in another human services field may be considered if licensed as a Mental Health Counselor.
Previous experience in a mental health setting preferred.
Responsibilities:
Reports to Supervisor, Psychiatry and carries out duties as assigned by him/her.
Provides appropriate clinical services as outlined under Basic Function above.
Achieves expected productivity standard.
Completes all documentation within required time frames.
