Under the direction of the Director of Public Information, the Writer/Copyeditor will create timely, compelling content for several platforms, including websites, social media, and print publications, as well as copyedit content from others. Job duties include:
o Develop content for a range of digital channels and media, including but not limited to, Board website, intranet, digital newsletters, gov/delivery (direct emails), social media channels, internal emails, press releases. o Write and/or copyedit internal and external communications, including print publications. o Copyedit/proofread Board materials, including but not limited to, web content, online training aids, web-based procedures, webinar and other presentations, FAQs, digital newsletters, forms. o Work with subject matter experts in other units to get input and approvals on materials being written and/or reviewed. o Other projects, as required.

Salary Range:
From $59038 to $73259 Annually
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or English, and two to five years of professional experience writing/copyediting. Preferred experience with writing for web and social media. Impeccable grammar and proofreading skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects/priorities, working under tight deadlines. Candidates will be asked to complete a writing test and provide samples of their work.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
