Maintenance Supervisor 1 Electronic Equipment

- Supervise Electronic Equipment Repair Mechanics and other positions as necessary. - Performs testing, installation, and repair of various types of electronic equipment at OPWDD operated facilities. - Performs maintenance on security systems including motion sensor systems, access control, security doors, electromagnetic detection devices, cameras and other security equipment as requested. - Oversees, assists, and escorts contractors assigned to installation, testing, and maintenance of life safety and/or security systems. - Oversees contractors providing required testing and repairs. - Reviews, evaluates, and assigns maintenance work order requests. This may include coordinating materials, tools, and supplies so that a project or work request can come to completion. - Trouble shoots, adjusts, and repair HVAC electronic control systems and low voltage controls on standby generator systems. - Tests, troubleshoots, and repairs automated/emergency lighting systems. - Assists with review of scope of work to be performed by others within this specialized field. - Work with Maintenance Supervisors to develop maintenance contracts and scopes of work. - Travel required within district and may be required to travel within NY State to assist other OPWDD operated facilities. Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of applicable agency standards and of appropriate building and construction code regulations. - Working knowledge of safety policies as they relate to the agency. - Ability to train and supervise others. -Ability to read and interpret plants, diagrams, architectural blueprints and specifications. -Valid NYS Driver's license.

Salary Range:
From $49703 to $60371 Annually
Minimum Qualification
Candidate must be reachable for appointment on current Civil Service Eligible list for this title OR Candidates must have one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/c status in the posted title and be eligible for lateral transfer; OR be eligible to transfer via Section 70.1, 70.4, or 52.6 of Civil Service Law. The transfer cannot be a second consecutive transfer resulting in an advancement of more than two salary grades OR Promotion/Provisional:
In the event that there is not a valid eligible list, candidates who meet the following promotion qualifications may be qualified for a provisional appointment. To qualify, candidates must have one year of permanent service as a Service & Repair Mechanic (Electronics) OR Open-Competitive/Provisional:
In the event that there is not a valid eligible list, candidates who meet the following OC qualifications may be qualified for a provisional appointment. To qualify, candidates must have five years of experience in the building electrical trades, including at least one year of journey level experience in the maintenance and repair of complex electronic systems in buildings. Successful completion of technical or vocational training related to the electrical or electronics trades may be substituted on a year-for-year basis up to two years.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
